STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the user’s joints and muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. The universal SR 450 can be switched easily from spraying to dusting at the turn of a handle. No need for a separate conversion kit or specialist technical skills.
With the three grids that you can assemble, you can change the spray jet’s shape and direction. Taper grids, diffraction grating and double diffraction grating are standard features.
The large metering lever for dusting or spraying granules is just below the control handle. With just one movement, you can switch the flow of powder on and off, and set the exact concentration in fine intermediate stages.
